South Asian University offers Masters and Ph.D. degrees in seven fields, which are Economics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, International Studies, Sociology, and Legal Studies. The Master’s degree is a full-time program with the duration of two years and has 30 seats per course.
Degrees and certificates awarded by the South Asian University are recognized by the University Grants Commission in India and by other SAARC countries. The University focuses overwhelmingly on research and post-graduate level programmes.

South Asian University ( SAU) is an international university sponsored by the eight Member States of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC). The eight countries are Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.
From this year, the university announces admissions to new programmes in the Department of Computer Science, namely, B.Tech., Dual Degree (B.Tech.+M.Tech.), M.Tech. and Integrated (M.Sc.+M.Tech.). All the programmes of the university are full time and the classes are held in offline mode.
