  4. paritrāṇāya sādhūnāṃ vināśāya ca duṣkṛtām dharmasaṃsthāpanārthāya sambhavāmi yuge yuge 4-8. For the protection of the good, for the destruction of the wicked and for the establishment of rightenousness, I am born in every age.

  5. Purport. According to Bhagavad-gītā, a sādhu (holy man) is a man in Kṛṣṇa consciousness. A person may appear to be irreligious, but if he has the qualifications of Kṛṣṇa consciousness wholly and fully, he is to be understood to be a sādhu.
