Norodom Sihamoni ( Khmer: នរោត្តម សីហមុនី, [nɔˈroːɗɑm səjˈhamoniː]; born 14 May 1953) is King of Cambodia. He became King on 14 October 2004, a week after the abdication of his father, Norodom Sihanouk. [1] He is the eldest son of King Sihanouk and former Queen consort Norodom Monineath and is the fourth monarch from the royal House of Norodom.

Norodom Sihamoni, 1953–, king of Cambodia (2004–). A son of King Norodom Sihanouk and his fifth wife, Norodom Sihamoni was trained as a dancer and taught dance (1981–2000) in Paris, choreographed, and directed his own dance company. In 1993 he became Cambodia's ambassador to UNESCO.
