May 1, 2021 · I use the app ZEDGE for all my sounds etc Choose a ringtone, download. On my S21 a menu pops up and the option Set as Contact Ringtone is listed. Tap that option, select the contact you want and that's it. What can be confusing is after setting the contact ringtone the options Pops back up, just exit or back out.

Jun 13, 2024 · Go into the apps info and where it says the ringtone for that app you can change it. I've found that if I download a ringtone from say zedge, instead of making it a notification tone just download the tone to your media folder.
Nov 19, 2019 · I select a new tone and save. That works perfectly every time. After it displays the default list and I tap the plus sign it opens sound picker. I select the folders tab at the bottom and it shows the notifications and the ringtones folder where I've saved my custom short tones. I select one and save. This works great every time.
