Jun 27, 2018 · Jeep Wrangler (JL) has been plagued with all sorts of electronic and electrical problems since the vehicle launched in 2018. The vast majority of problems can be traced to the dual-battery setup: as the auxiliary battery starts to weaken, sometimes as soon as the customer drives the vehicle off the lot, it starts to drain the main battery, causing all sorts of seemingly-unrelated electronic and electrical glitches.

I thought that that yellow, contrasting with all the black highlights on the Jeep, was a great combination. And it was a pure yellow, not the orangish yellow of HellaYella.
May 29, 2021 · The dealership tech working with the engineer told us though “on the side” he thought the issues were caused initially by poorly installed fuses that caused shorting “somewhere” in the cam bus. He said by the time our Jeep made it to the dealership (the first time) the damage was done. FCA never confirmed this theory.

Jul 21, 2020 · I had a P0300, multiple cylinder misfire and P2302 Ignition Coil 2nd circuit/A Insufficient ionization a few weeks back with the Jeep running awful. I even had the rotten egg smell at the onset but haven't had it since. I haven't really left the driveway though. The jeep has roughly 100k so my first impression was time to change plugs and wires.

The problem turned out to be at the mouth of the gas tank. The round metal ridge that the rubber gasket of the gas cap makes contact with was bubbled a bit from rust.
