Robert Carlyle OBE (born 14 April 1961) is a Scottish actor. His film work includes Trainspotting (1996), The Full Monty (1997), The World Is Not Enough (1999), There's Only One Jimmy Grimble (2000), The 51st State (2001), Eragon (2006), and The Legend of Barney Thomson (2015).
The six-episode first series is written by Ben Richards and stars Robert Carlyle and Victoria Hamilton. The series premiered on PBS in the United States on 4 October 2020. In February 2020, it was renewed for a second series titled Cyberwar, which was broadcast in the UK in late 2021 and the US in 2022.
