If you If you want self-catered and en-suite, I recommend Richmond Park or Sheavyn Hall. If you don’t mind spending extra money, I heard Unsworth Park is a really nice place. If you like to have a balance between social life and peace, then accommodations at Victoria Park are quite nice. Brook Hall or Burkhardt House is en-suite and self-catered.
Manchester is a city university so they are very different (as others have already said). As for the nightlife, personally I don't think the nightlife in Leam and Cov is as bad as people suggest. Yes, it's clearly not going to be good as a big city, but, there are a selection of places to choose from and I think it's enough for a student to live with.
Im planning on taking a gap year next year so I was wondering of applying to Manchester uni for economics. Ive never seen the campus or the actual uni but have heard good things about it and just wanted any advice from current Manchester uni applicants and applicants that have applied their for their respective courses.
