  1. I get the Amazon hate but Goodreads is a better site. StoryGraph probably better for real recommendations and stats, but reviews, community, etc. is all Goodreads. All depends on what you are looking for, I personally don't need recommendations or book reading stats. I tried out StoryGraph but didn't really offer me anything useful.

  2. Sep 20, 2020 · I tried The Storygraph, I thought the recommendations were okay but weren't noticeably better or worse than Goodreads. The one frustration I had is that most of the descriptions and reviews were just completely wrong. Slow-paced and dark books were marked as fast-paced and lighthearted and other similar issues.

  3. Book with Incorrect Page Counts. I’ve read multiple books recently that have the wrong page count listed in StoryGraph (exact edition confirmed by ISBN). I think it’s caused by publishers listing page counts as the total sheets of paper in the book times two, instead of as the number of numbered pages (they’re including all the white ...

In my opinion, Goodreads is better for reading reviews, and StoryGraph is better for finding and cataloguing books. I started using both Goodreads and StoryGraph around the same time, intending to eventually choose one or the other.

  9. Reply reply. brotbread. •. I think so. I personally don't have streaks enabled and don't participate in the January challenge but I am 99.9% certain the official storygraph Twitter account has tweeted a dozen times @ people who forgot to log that they can simply edit their reading journal to restore it.

  10. Feb 9, 2022 · New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be cast. I really tried to like storygraph but I find it's, somehow, less intuitive than goodreads. I loved the stats but it was too annoying to use, plus goodreads is connected to my kindle. Goodreads. It's already there on the Kindle so is the most convenient option.
