Apr 9, 2022 · Shipper sends shipment data but does not ship the package on that date. Weather delays during shipment (remember Ground moves everything by rail or tractor trailer, not by plane). Too many packages in the network exceeding capacity can cause a delay. A shipping network as complex as FedEx can have all kinds of issues that can lead to delays.
Aug 11, 2022 · At fedex express, The Leo (tablet) has gps. Dispatch can see in real time where drivers are, managers can call dispatch whenever they wish to get updates—locations, how many stops a driver has left, etc. if your package has a senseaware then it tracks the package in real time also. There are also cameras on each truck.
Finally Happened. My package tracking showed the package arrived at the nearest Fed ex facility early on the 20th. Showed it "out for delivery" since later that afternoon all the way through until this morning, the 26th. Checked tracking at lunch time and it said that it was delivered-on April 20th. Um, nope.
Jan 28, 2022 · Lmao this mf really asking why we want GPS tracking. You makes sense for fedex ground... but I'm overnighting a package. Grubhub, Instacart, Uber Eats, Lyft, Walmart, Amazon Prime and UPS all have this feature, yet the Express focused Fedex Express doesn't. All those are gig workers except for Prime and UPS.
Sep 15, 2021 · Shipment info sent to FEDEX - This means the shipper generated an electronic shipping label and prompted FEDEX to pick it up, or dropped it off at a local receiving station. Picked up - Yeah, this one is obvious Arrived at FEDEX location - Your package has arrived at the local depot. Its in a trailer or a pile and will be sorted, eventually.

Dec 11, 2020 · Means it's in transit on it's way to you - probably severely delayed, but not totally lost. Keep in mind, if it's on a trailer, it does not necessarily mean the trailer is on a truck. Transit could also mean its buried in a warehouse waiting for someone to happen across it and scan it back in. 2. Award.
How accurate is FedEx tracking? Ask FedEx. Since around 7am this morning my packages that are scheduled for today have been marked as "On FedEx vehicle for delivery", which i've read means it's out for delivery and on the way to me right now- but it's from a facility around 45 minutes out and the blue dot (which i'm assuming is the truck) hasn ...
Here's the rub. FedEx didn't fail you. You might think FedEx failed you but they didn't. With FedEx Ground/HD no packages are picked up transported or delivered by FedEx Ground employees. The only FedEx employees that MIGHT deliver a ground package is an Express employee that's being contracted out to Ground by Express. But the brand!!!! Yep ...
Oct 17, 2023 · For anyone else coming across this post, I just got off of the phone with the FedEx Developer Support team; the Track API in the sandbox is known to be broken and they aren't going to fix it, however the production Track API is working. FedEx is going to replace the sandbox Track API with a virtualized service, which should be done in May 2024. 2.
