Aug 10, 2021 · IW and Endgame feels distinctly different to me. There's so much urgency in IW and intense situations back to back from start to finish, while Endgame was all aftermath and recovery. For sure both are part of one big story, but each movie feels unique, which is probably intentionally what they were going for when they renamed part 2 to Endgame.

I just got back from seeing it and it’s well worth waiting to see it in good quality lots of spectacles to look forward to. Got a steady job, got sober, got married. A couple months before Endgame came out our first child was born. Endgame was the first time I went out for an evening. It was a super cathartic experience. When Tony said “I am Iron Man” it made me reflect on where I was in 2008 and where I was in 2019.
