When I fill the layer with pattern it always shows the first pattern on the list. Is it possible to change the settings in Photoshop so that the fill will be ...
Oct 4, 2019 · When I go to define patterns, the preview box shows a very thin selection as a pattern instead of the proper pattern. May 17, 2011 · Thanks for taking the time to reply, Chris, but none of those apply. The selection is 31x31 pixels. The app is definitely not in a modal state. In fact, the Define Brush Presets item is enabled, but Define Pattern (just below it) is not. This is the first pattern preset I've tried to create, so I'm certainly not at the max.
Jan 14, 2011 · Actually, in my case, when I had trouble, I had to make sure the image was embedded. Otherwise, it acts stupid and doesn't want to allow you to drag and drop or even select "Define Pattern" from the Edit menu. Once it is embedded, it should be okay. Hopefully between all of these different answers one of them will work!
Sep 11, 2012 · Incorrect cropping of "Define Pattern" in 32-bit mode in some cases. Reproduce steps: - Create a new 32-bit image with size 32x32px. - Fill it white. - Select the right-most pixel column (x = 31, y = 0..31) and the botto-most row (y = 31, x = 0..31) and fill them black. - Select everything (32x32) with the selection tools. - Edit > Define Pattern:
