Jul 2, 2020 · I use Citrix Workspace App on a daily basis. However, what you are referring to in the browser an extension, it is distinctly different from the app itself, which use entirely different protocols for connecting. Citrix Workspace app launches as an isolated process from the browser.

Jun 4, 2020 · Actually, I already did what you indicated. The last version of Citrix Workspace App 2002 doesn't download the needed .net. But it seems like this issue was not in the earlier versions, as I'm running now on an earlier version and it works fine. I ignore if there's any 'big' differences between these versions.

In "How do you want to open this file" click on Citrix Connection Manager. 3. Put a check mark in 'Always use this app to open .ica files' and click on OK.
