Lichess's broadcast page has improved a lot. It's still missing one killer feature Chess24 had, though. In Chess24, when you hovered over a player, it would show a popup with their individual results and upcoming schedule. If they add that, then Chess24 will not be missed by me anymore.

Chess24's twitch production quality was unmatched and their news/recaps were excellent as well. I had no idea how good we had it with Chessbomb and chess24 as go-to options for live game viewing and coverage respectively. There are just fewer options now, and the entire chess community is worse off for it. RIP Chess24, you will be sorely missed

Apr 6, 2020 · Chess.com has excellent learning material for new players, and I find its user interface more intuitive in many places vs. lichess.org. Chess24.com has good coverage of the chess world, but for playing and learning... meh. Pros: Completely free and open source, good interface for web, great community.
Chess24 is a website that I and many others use very, very regularly to watch high-quality, non-twitchified/memed broadcasts (ala botez sisters/pogchamps), and taking it down and conglomerating it with your (now enormous) company raises concerns that all we will have left is Hikaru-style broadcasts.

May 4, 2020 · A beta version should be available pretty soon! Chess24 has been known for its event coverage and video series traditionally. Now if they succeed to make their playzone top-notch I would say they'll take the lead in the chess business over chess,com. Waiting with interest what these chess giants will bring to us in the future.
Chess.com's biggest selling point is its large user base, cool live events, and it's playing experience really has improved with the latest version. Chess24 has a worse playing interface than lichess and a much smaller player pool than both. I also think the premium content you get from a subscription to Chess.com vs Chess24 is about the same.
