"Weathering with you" is a plate of spaghetti with very questionable ingredients that seems to be there for the sake of looking good, and despite it's grand presentation complete with truffles and gold plate, you can tell that the presentation is only there to hide it's many flaws, the half-cooked linguine, the hastily cooked sauce and the utter arrogance you can sense from the kitchen, expecting you to forgive all those flaws because of the restaurant's prestige.

Jul 26, 2021 · I would say Your Name is better on the first watch, but Weathering With You is better to rewatch. You start to notice little plot holes with Your Name upon further viewings but still an excellent movie. So basically which one made you cry more. I liked weathering with you better but i dont know the reason why.

Apr 27, 2023 · No cameos from Your Name or Weathering with You were shown and the settings (in particular Tokyo) seem to be unaffected by the events in the previous movies. Think this was honestly a better approach as it allows for a much more cohesive narrative in comparison to the other films, though of course it would still have been cool if they did crossover in some form.
