I walked around there for days shuffling down cobblestone paths on Tallinn’s narrow streets, staring at medieval cathedrals and sunny squares full of people. Though the city was quite bombed during the WW2, Tallinn’s old town is astonishingly well preserved.

The children’s zoo , located at the western gate, is where kids can get up close and personal with animals including miniature goats , alpacas, rabbits, Kihnu sheep, rodents and birds.

It is the capital of Estonia and located along the Baltic Sea. A visit to Tallinn is a common day trip from Helsinki. We think devoting only a day to this fascinating destination is a shame.
