Shmuel Dayan (Hebrew: שמואל דיין; 8 August 1891 – 11 August 1968) was a Zionist activist during the British Mandate of Palestine and an Israeli politician who served in the first three Knessets.

Shemuel Dayan was the father of Moshe Dayan, Shemuel was born in Zhashkov, Ukraine, and settled in Israel in 1908. He was a founding member of Deganyah Aleph, Deganyah Bet and Moshav Nahalal. He represented the moshav movement in Yishuv institutions, the Histadrut and at various Zionist Congresses.
