Purnima Das Verma. Purnima Das Verma (born Meherbhano Mohammad Ali; 2 March 1934 — 14 August 2013) was an Indian actress who worked predominantly in Hindi-language films. She was the aunt of director Mahesh Bhatt and grandmother of actor Emraan Hashmi.
She is well known for her work in the superhit successful movie ‘Moner Majhe Tumi’. In 2010, she won National Film Award (Bangladesh) in the category of Best Film Actress for the movie ‘Ora Amake Bhalo Hote Dilo Na’.
