Project Infinity is a mod manager for Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition, Icewind Dale Enhanced Edition, Planescape Torment Enhanced Edition and Enhanced Edition Trilogy (EET). Project Infinity aims to provide almost the same functionality BWS did, but without the need for constant 24/7 maintenance of the tool itself, for the cost of a few additional required actions to be performed by its users.
May 3, 2022 · Project Infinity loaded the items I wanted pre-EET just fine, but I'm having difficulty with the EET portion. I've found Morpheus' repository of Weidu logs, and looking at them helps with putting things in a sensible order.
May 30, 2022 · Q: Windows 10: After downloading, Project Infinity doesn't start up. A: Open PC-settings. Go to Updates and Security, Windows-security, Virus- and threatsecurity. Under settings for virus- and threatsecurity, click manage settings. Under Exceptions, click Add or remove exceptions. Click Add an exception, Process, and enter "ProjectInfinity.exe".
Ok, guys first time poster here. I have been lurking for a while of this thread. Just want to say that Project Infinity is a great tool. The lagging issue has been solved and the installer works alright. I have installed my EET and it works fine so far in the prologue but maybe there might be issues down the road.
What's the optimal install order for these using Project Infinity? Most Essential Mods. NOTE: These mods are the most important ones for us for this run. If these won't work together, there will be some major adjustments. All mods are listed in alphabetical order, descending. -Almateria's Restoration Project.
A quick report--PI recognized Almateria's Restoration Project and its language selection, but did not list the actual components of the mod. Out of the 20-30ish mods in my mod folders, I think this was the only component issue. Otherwise, out of the box it worked on Win 10.
Project Infinity (PI): Project Infinity is a new tool from AL|EN, one of the BWS contributors, and worth a look. Its goal is to provide the same level of functionality as BWS without the unmaintainable aspects of the project, e.g. it gives optional tools for modders to provide install order information, or you can use community-derived install orders.
I might be wrong, but I think it's because there's a discrepancy between the mods' names in the Project Infinity window and the mods' IDs. Both Almateria and G3 tweak have version numbers in their names ("iwd2fixpack v3" for Almateria, "cdtweaks v9" for G3) but they lack these version numbers in their IDs ("iwd2fixpack" for Almateria, "cdtweaks" for G3).
Mar 11, 2023 · How do you use Project Infinity to install a multiple component mod that needs different components to be installed at different times? For example Imoen Forever component 1,2,4 need to be installed early as a quest mod. Imoen SoD components need to be installed after all quest mods that change or alter SoD content.
