Comp dates from 1999, and Otomo was doing sampler-based works around then, but he also did a lot of cut up records and turntable manipulation. For a modern sampler? Most on the market have as much memory as a 1999 laptop did, so any can do this.
I know sometimes he uses objects on it but occasionally I'll notice a record on there, what is the record? or it just pre-made noise on it thanks.
What sampler does Otomo Yoshihide use? I am trying to get a sound similar to his rapid cutup style found in ground zero or the "Rapid" compilation ( https://youtu.be/xVQbddrUJLA?si=xjFCxi6DE4YcZL2M, 13:04).
