Jul 18, 2014 · Yes we do. For 64-bit machines our free site installs both the 32 and 64-bit JRE versions so the Java plugin works with 32-bit web browsers. Ninite Pro can select those independently. With the 64-bit JRE just getting skipped on 32-bit machines, of course. Reply reply.

Yes ninite is legit and very useful for installing multiple programs at once. its 100 percent legit and at least you know the programs are the proper ones not dodgy which you may get by googling them. We do not support cleaners, debloaters, or booster software of any kind as they damage the operating system.
Aug 10, 2018 · Ninite is the most popular "package manager" for Windows, but I didn't like the limited selection. I moved to PatchMyPc Updater , which has a much larger selection and automatically detects installed programs.
Dec 5, 2010 · There don't seem to be any configuration options when I open up the installer. Ninite bothers me -- it is so close to being a perfect timesaver, but never quite what I need, for reasons including this. I don't think that's possible. At least, not with the free version.
Jan 21, 2022 · Ninite alternatives? My issue with Ninite is it doesn't have support for Kaspersky Total Security which is the AM I use. I recommend chocolatey for installing a selection of programs in 1. winget is great if you're comfortable with the command line, although it can't handle apps distributed in zip files yet.

Apr 22, 2020 · Thanks for the suggestion, just checked Virustotal and it appears safe. ninite.com strips the garbage out of the installers for you. That's the point of downloading from there. Ninite is very safe, a lot of people use it. It's my go to website the first thing after a fresh install of Windows.
Apr 23, 2012 · I tried ninite a few months ago, before I realized that all it does is download the latest version and install it with silent switches. One little network share, a batch script for each installer run as a computer logon (or logoff) script should keep everything quietly up to date without some ridiculously expensive license.
