Rana Mokal or Mokal Singh (c. 1409 – c. 1433 & r. 1421–1433), was the fourth ruler of Mewar Kingdom, the youngest son of Rana Lakha and father of Rana Kumbha of Mewar. Rana Mokal has been described as a great builder, a trait which he had inherited from his father.
Mokal's son, his first important achievement was attacking and killing his father's assassins. His further accomplishments included absolute defeat of the Sultans of Nagaur, Gujarat and Malwa . Under his able leadership, Mewar became the strongest kingdom in North India.
Kumbha was a son of Rana Mokal Singh of Mewar by his wife, Sobhagya Devi, a daughter of Jaitmal Sankhla, the Paramara fief-holder of Runkot in the state of Marwar. He was the 48th Rana of Mewar and succeeded Rana Mokal Singh in the year 1433 CE as the ruler of Mewar.
