Marist School, formerly known as Marist College, was established in 1901 by the Society of Mary (Marist Fathers and Brothers). The Marist Fathers first came to Atlanta in 1897 at the request of Bishop Thomas Becker to staff the new Sacred Heart Parish.
It’s our goal to make Marist School affordable for as many families as possible. That’s why Marist allocates approximately $2.6 million in need-based tuition assistance each year to nearly 1 in 6 of our students, representing a wide range of financial circumstances.
