Jun 16, 2022 · Jason X is a good attempt at a comeback after the mess that was Jason Goes To Hell, which felt like an episode of Friday the 13th: The Series that was bookended by Jason appearances, but I think most people just wanted Jason back at the Lake, killing counselors, residents, and campers, same as he ever did.
Oct 10, 2020 · Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives is probably the only Friday the 13th film that you could call objectively good in that it doesn't take itself too seriously and is tongue and cheek and kinda meta in its approach. The characters have more personality and are more likable, which you unfortunately can't really say for the rest of the series.

Jul 8, 2022 · It sets itself apart from every other Friday movie because of the comedic tone, which is pretty funny, because every movie has something unique (Pamela, baghead Jason, 3D, Jason dies, killer that looks like Jason, comedic tone, telekinetic girl, Manhattan/boat, Jason body-hopping, space, Freddy and reboot) and a comedic tone seems like it's the most boring out of the unique stuff, but it fits so perfectly.

Oct 23, 2021 · Part 6 is very self aware and continues the trend of Jason is stronger the closer to death he is because zombie Jason is a beast. That’s actually saying something because as a “ human” he literally and effortlessly walked through a solid wood door and crushed a man’s head while simultaneously lifting him into the air by his head.

Jul 21, 2017 · Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives once again continues the story of Tommy Jarvis and his never-ending obsession with Jason Voorhees. Tommy still isn't 100% certain that Jason is actually dead, leading him to break out of the mental institution with a friend and head to Jason's grave in an attempt to cremate Jason and put a definite end to him once and for all.
