Sep 11, 2024 · according to ridley scott there is apparently a "final" version of this that is 4 hours long that makes me wonder "why hasn't it released yet" because holy shit this feels incredibly butchered. this movie overall structurally and tonally feels completely cut. maybe it's the fact this is rated pg-13 and not rated r like most other ridley scott films but it feels like it lacks the grit and brutalness the other ridley scott films had too. there is some glimmers of what this could've been. sure ...
