Mar 11, 2024 · Blinkova put much pressure since the start. Very good response from Diane Parry who I really like (one handed backhand) who didnt panic and stayed calm. Then the russian couldnt sustain this type of agressive game (many DFs) and the outcome was Parry's very nice challenge next with Sakkari. She will have to believe in herself and FIGHT BIG.
Jan 21, 2024 · What a comeback from 1-5 down in the decider. She was struggling so much with Diane's all-court game - Parry's heavier FH, net skills, and slice caused a lot of damage. Mirra lost a lot of the longer cat and mouse rallies which is not something you see every day. The windy conditions also made things weird.

Sep 11, 2024 · Decent power, very solid from both wings, can counterpunch and play off the variety (some sweet net game to save last 2 break points Parry had). She desperately needs to work on her serve though. Better returners than Parry will put much more pressure on her. Very interesting QF matchup with Kartal, both will have a lot to gain in points here.
