Rev 6:2, the one on the white horse bent on conquest (antichrist) wears a stephanos. Now, I read in Rev. 13:1 that the beast with ten horns and seven heads is wearing a crown (diadema).

Just a quickie, but I would say the elders are human, as the vision is a mash-up of a kingly throne room (throne; worship of the king; judgements being passed; opening of sealed documents) and the temple (the holy sea, lampstands; creatures depicted in solomon's temple and on the ark of the covenant; 24 priestly divisions in the temple).
Jan 9, 2022 · The "crowns" are royal crowns, "diadema" as distinct from the victory crowns, "stephanoi". He has a robe dipped in blood signifying the bleeding lamb. He leads the armies of heaven who are the righteous who have their white robes (Rev 19:8) He is "King of Kings and Lord of Lords" compare Rev 17:14, Acts 10:36, Rom 10:12, Col 1:15.
Context is the Key. From the question, and by reading the text, it is apparent that the Context is Figurative; therefore it is not the reality in itself but representative of that reality.
