Because of this feature that is relatively unnoticed, anything that happens on a timely basis in a public game will also occur in a friend's only game. Gasmasks. 1.

Invite-only: you can invite anyone on your friends list, people who joined can invite anyone on their friends list. So, friends of friends of friends can get invited.
