Antioch is A College of Action. Antioch prepares students to live lives of intention. Students have agency to design their education, to own that education, to govern their college, to collaborate with their faculty, and extend their classroom learning into the real world.
Education Should be Liberatory. We think we’ve got something special going at Antioch College. For over 100 years, we have been a college that changes lives through our signature combination of community, classroom, and co-op. Today, we are a small place of belonging and abundance.
Admission. Students who choose to attend Antioch College crave transformative, real-world experiences. They have an interest in collaboration and community. They want the freedom and flexibility to design an education that prepares them for active professional, political, and social engagement.
In a historic moment, Antioch achieves its first ranking on this prestigious list since its reopening in 2011, marking a remarkable return to U.S. News & World Report’s college rankings after an absence since 1991.
Immerse Yourself in Community. It’s not that Antioch College (founded in 1850) or its home of Yellow Springs, Ohio (founded in 1825) are new. It’s that both are constantly being made new by the vibrant spirit of this place. Student life on campus is what you make of it.
Though a small community, Antioch College enrolls students from 27 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. Our faculty and staff come from equally diverse origins, including Haiti, the Bahamas, Japan, Puerto Rico, and India, among others.
First-year students may enter Antioch College in either the Fall or mid-way through the year in the Winter quarter. For fall entry, first-year applicants have three options for applying: Early Decision I, Early Decision II or Regular Decision.
