The Delegation of Financial Powers Rules, 1978 is the compendium containing all the orders delegating powers to authorities other than the Ministry of Finance. These Rules came in to force with effect from the 1st August, 1978 repealing the Delegation of Financial Powers Rules, 1958.
Financial Powers Rules (DFPRs), 1978 under Cabinet Secretariat are hereby delegated the financial powers (as per Annexures I and Il enclosed) for incurring contingent and miscellaneous expenditure under Schedules V and VI of the DFPRs, with immediate effect and until further orders.
