This invasive species was introduced to the Great Lakes in the 1830s via the Welland Canal, which connects Lakes Ontario and Erie. Sea lampreys are notorious for their destructive feeding habits, as they can kill up to 40 pounds of fish each year.
Killer Fish isn't a great film but it's not bad either. It's entertaining for sure. Not sure how much the movie rips off Piranha (still have to watch that flick).
