Dhill is based on the life of Kanagavel (Vikram,) who aspires to be a police officer. One night, while Kanagavel and his girlfriend, Asha (Laila,) are having dinner, a drunk corrupt police officer, Shankar (Ashish Vidyarthi,) harasses Asha. To teach Shankar a lesson, Kanagavel beats him up.
