Mar 4, 2022 · St. Joseph, Missouri – The St. Joseph Catholic Schools Partnership announced a key decision today following two years of evaluation, research and visioning about the future of St. Joseph Catholic Schools. Effective July 1, 2022, five St. Joseph Catholic Schools will align under one entity called St. Joseph Catholic Academy (SJCA).
The High School Placement Test (HSPT) This test is required in order to enter St. Pius X as a freshman. The HSPT for the class of 2028 is scheduled for December 9th, 2023*. Registration for the test can be accessed through your SPX Parent Portal, after an application is submitted for your student.
History of St. Pius X. In the early 1950’s there was no Catholic High School between the Missouri River and St. Joseph. Parishioners in five parishes in the “northland” felt the need for students in their parish elementary schools to continue their Catholic education through the secondary level.
