Synopsis. Robin "Rob" Feld is a former Portland-based chef turned reclusive truffle forager following the death of his wife and partner Lori fifteen years prior. He hunts truffles deep in the forests of Oregon through the use of his prized foraging pig. He begins supplying the truffles he and his pig finds to Amir, a young, inexperienced seller.

Pig není akční film, ale skutečně komorní studie očividné lásky a následné reakce na ztrátu. Funguje to nejen díky skvělému Cageovi, ale také díky víceméně solidnímu scénáři, kterému se podaří za pochodu přijít s várkou zvratů, kdy se tak trochu mění pravidla hry a nic není tak jednoduché.
