Applying for PhD Programme. Admissions to the PhD programme are held twice a year, in May and December. Applications can be submitted online at the IIT Delhi Admissions webpage, starting March and October respectively. Follow the "PG Admission" link. General Information.
Admission Procedure: Download the application form from the IIT Delhi web-site by following the Admissions tab. Fill the form and attach a draft for Rs 300 made payable to the "Registrar, IIT Delhi" at New Delhi.
The following eligibility conditions apply for the Part-time and sponsored full-time programmes. Only employees of Public Sector Undertakings or Government Departments or Research and Development Organizations or Private Industries (approved by Faculty Boards) are eligible for admission to these programmes.
The doctoral programme in Computer Science and Engineering offers students the possibility of doing intensive research in an area of their choice.
