French Toast released an EP, "Bug Man", and a CD single, "Hatred Mace/For Sylvia", through Arrest Records, and in 2005 they released their debut full-length, "In a Cave", through Dischord. Later that year, the band expanded into a trio with the addition of multi-instrumentalist Ben Gilligan.
