myday Authenticating… is a portal for students and staff of the University of Leicester to access their personal and academic information, such as timetables, grades, email, and Microsoft 365. To login, you need to use your University IT account credentials and set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for security reasons.

Postgraduates. Blackboard, our virtual learning environment which you can access from anywhere in the world, is home to everything that you need for your course including: Lecture slides and notes uploaded by your tutors, as well as reading lists and links to any online resources.

Registration is important. It is also quick and easy, and completed through MyStudentRecord (login required). You will receive an email with how to do this prior to the start of your course.
Login using MFA. When you access any service protected by Multi-Factor Authentication (login required) from off-campus (this will not apply when on campus): You may see a notification asking to Stay signed in? Only click Yes on devices or PCs that you don’t share with others.
💻 On your computer, go to aka.ms/mfasetup. If required, login using your University IT account username and password. 💻 You will see a More information required screen. Choose Next. 📱 On your phone, go to the iOS app store (iPhone) or Google Play store (android) and search for Microsoft Authenticator app.
