May 10, 2023 · The initial set up of Laila's antics and how Qais and Laila became a couple wasn't very convincing. I felt it was too rushed, so i never really felt anything for Laila. And therefore, i connected more with Qais and wanted him to get a happy ending, with or without Laila.

Aug 27, 2022 · I went into the movie not knowing the tale of Laila Majnu, so I don't have anything to compare with. I know people can think and react differently than me, but he was just being stupid and immature. I can't relate to people who are obsessive in love, and this movie sort of romanticises that.
