Jul 28, 2014 · Arun Dutt, son of legendary filmmaker Guru Dutt and playback singer Geeta Dutt, died of Kidney failure, said his daughter Gouri. He was 58. He died Saturday afternoon in Pune and his funeral took place the same day. "My father passed away yesterday (Saturday) afternoon in Pune," Gouri told Tellychakkar.com. "He had been unwell for the past one year. He was suffering from multiple complications, but the major reason was kidney failure. His funeral took place last night at Pune itself," she said.
