Madho Rao Scindia, c. 1903. Maharaja Sir Madho Rao Scindia of Gwalior GCSI GCVO GBE (20 October 1876 – 5 June 1925), was the 5th Maharaja of Gwalior belonging to the Scindian dynasty of the Marathas.
Madhavrao Jivajirao Scindia (10 March 1945 – 30 September 2001) was an Indian politician and minister in the Government of India. He was a member of the Indian National Congress . Scindia was the son of Jiwajirao Scindia, the last ruling Maharaja of the princely state of Gwalior during the British Raj.
Her son Madhavrao Scindia was elected to the Lok Sabha in 1971 representing the Jansangh Party, he joined Congress in 1980 and served until his death in 2001. His son, Jyotiraditya Scindia, joined the Congress Party and was elected to the seat formerly held by his father in 2004.
