Dec 9, 2003 · Jo Yeong-Wook created a very intensive atmosphere that catches the saidness and lonelyness of the charakters in "Old Boy". Very importend for this film is Vivaldis Concerto No.4 "L'inverno" because it disarmes the brutality of the "teeth scenes" and makes it bearable for the audience because of the contrast between picture and music.
