May 15, 2017 · Siguiendo la recomendación de Pasolini, que era el autor de la historia original de «La commare secca», comenzó a escribir el guión de la película. El productor Antonio Cervi, impresionado por el éxito de «Accatone» había adquirido los derechos sobre el guión con la esperanza de que el propio Pasolini dirigiera al película, pero el poeta estaba inmerso en el rodaje de Mamma Roma su próxima película.
