  7. Born in 1896, British composer and music director, Cyril J. Mockridge received professional training at the Royal Academy of Music in London. Later, Mockridge went to Hollywood where he scored and arranged the music for 109 films, from 1935, "The Littlest Rebel" to 1963, "Donovan's Reef". In 1950, he produced the film, "Mother Didn't Tell Me". He retired to Hawaii where he died in 1979.
