    An American director, producer and writer who began his career as a TV writer on sitcoms such as The Bob Newhart Show (1976), Wilson went on to create both WKRP in Cincinnati (1978-1982) and Frank’s Place (1987-1988).     ABOUT HUGH. Hugh Wilson is an artist who works primarily from life. In his 20s he left a career on Wall Street and began studying figure drawing at the Spring Street Studio in NYC. He subsequently attended the Art Students League and Otis College of Art and Design before receiving his MFA in painting from the New York Academy of Art in 2004.
