Apart from being an animator and director, Peter Lord is best credited with the creation of the British animation studio Aardman Animations. The studio is known for its work in stop-motion clay animation and has won several awards for the same. Lord is the executive producer for all Aardman movies as well as numerous TV shows and short films.
