Sukumar Ray FRPS ( Sukumār Rāẏ ⓘ; 30 October 1887 – 10 September 1923) [3] was a Bengali writer and poet from British Bengal. He is remembered mainly for his writings for children. The filmmaker said he later tweaked the story and roped in Telugu star Allu Arjun, hence creating the two-part multilingual film — Pushpa: The Rise and Pushpa: The Rule.
