Daniel ( Aramaic and Hebrew: דָּנִיֵּאל, romanized : Dānīyyēʾl, lit. 'God is my Judge'; [a] Greek: Δανιήλ, romanized : Daniḗl; Arabic: دانيال, romanized : Dāniyāl) is the main character of the Book of Daniel.
