The data in each case include signals and periodic measurements obtained from a bedside monitor as well as clinical data obtained from the patient's medical record. The recordings vary in length; almost all of them are at least 20 hours, and many are 40 hours or more.
The MIMIC-III dataset is freely-available. Researchers seeking to use the database must formally request access. For details, see the getting started page. Once you have a PhysioNet account, you must enable access to the MIMIC-III dataset from your AWS account.

The MIMIC-III Waveform Database is a companion to the MIMIC-III Clinical Database, which contains detailed clinical information about most of the patients represented in the Waveform Database [1]. Since the contents of each database were collected independently, in partially deidentified form, matching the clinical data with the waveform data is a non-trivial task, and only a subset of Waveform Database records has been matched with Clinical Database records.
