Campus. Teaching and research is primarily based at our Old Aberdeen and Foresterhill campuses. Arts, Social Sciences, Physical Sciences and the main University library are located in Old Aberdeen. The majority of Life Sciences and Medicine is based at Foresterhill. We also have an international campus in Doha, Qatar.
Aberdeen is an exciting place to study renewable energy engineering as the city and surrounding region are at the forefront of the energy transition in the UK. There are several major energy transition projects already up and running including Equinor’s Hywind project and the European Offshore Wind Deployment Centre, Scotland’s largest offshore wind test and demonstration facility.
Apply Online. Applying for postgraduate programmes at the University of Aberdeen is simple. All of our postgraduate programmes can be applied for and managed online through the University's Applicant Portal. The exception to this is applying for our PGDE Teaching Programmes which have a separate application process.

Our university preparation programmes combine supportive staff who are experts in their subject with English language development, helping you to succeed on the undergraduate or postgraduate degree of your choice at the University of Aberdeen. 97% of students who completed their pathway programme at Aberdeen International Study Centre were offered progression to a degree course at the University of Aberdeen in 2023.
