Nico Erik Rosberg (born 27 June 1985 in Wiesbaden, West Germany) is a retired German Formula One driver who formerly drove for Williams and Mercedes. He is the 2016 World Champion, and is well-known for beating the seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher comprehensively on his comeback in 2010, and again in 2011.
