Since the 1980s, Joe Hisaishi, has received world-wide acclaim as one of the industry’s most prolific film music composers, working closely with anime director, Hayao Miyazaki, for whom he composed ten film scores, including Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, My Neighbour Totoro, Princess Mononoke and The Wind Rises.
